Technology is available to students for checkout at the 十大彩票平台 图书馆. Technology items include laptops, graphing calculators, scientific calculators, financial calculators, and Wi-Fi hotpots. 这些 pieces of equipment are a shared resource, and as such, renewals for these items are not guaranteed.
Due to high demand and limited supply, technology loaned to students by the East Georgia State College 图书馆 is only available on a first-come, first-served basis. 这些 items also circulate for one week (7 days) at a time. 续订取决于 项目的可用性. If a student requests an item that is not available, there is a waitlist they can be placed on, if they provide a working means of contact. 他们 will be notified when an item becomes available and be given a deadline to pick it up or forfeit their hold on the item.
Patrons are financially responsible for damage to equipment that occurs while it is 在他们的照料下. If equipment is lost, the patron is responsible for the cost of replacement.

Students from our off-site locations are also eligible to borrow technology from the East Georgia State College 图书馆. Circulation differs from the standard one-week 借期. Statesboro students need to contact the IT department found in the Nessmith-Lane Building of Georgia Southern University’s campus, and students from the Augusta University campus need to contact the Academic Center for Excellence in Galloway Hall for access 这些项目.

All borrowers 必须 sign a technology loan agreement that lists the loan(s) terms and 条件是:

- Technology is damaged, lost, or stolen.
- 他们 cannot return the item(s) by the due date due to emergency.
Borrowers understand that repeated failure to return or renew technology will result in possible technology bans for the remainder of the academic 学期 and possibly 未来的学期.
Borrowers cannot install software on laptops.
Laptops 必须 be returned regularly, and if available, exchanged for a different laptop to ensure that all items are receiving the necessary updates.
Banner Holds will be applied to borrower accounts if the technology is not returned or renewed in a timely manner, which will prevent course registration for any upcoming 学期s and restrict any academic transcript request.
Banner Holds will be removed once the technology has been returned, renewed, or replaced.
If there are any extenuating circumstances that will delay the return or renewal of loaned items, the borrower 必须 contact the 图书馆 staff for any accommodation to 被认为是.
Considerations for Technology Ban
Borrowers will 被认为是 for a technology ban when:

- Technology is at least thirty days overdue, and no communication on the part of the borrower has been exchanged with the 图书馆 staff.
- Technology bans are contingent on individual circumstances and can last from two consecutive academic 学期s or can be placed upon a patron’s library account permanently.
