如何申请 as a 瞬态

If you are currently enrolled at another accredited college or university, and you wish to temporarily enroll at EGSC for a semester with the intent to return to your previous institution. You may not enroll in learning support courses as a transient student or attend concurrent semesters.

    1. Start your application online.
    2. Submit Letter of 瞬态 Permission/Letter of Good Standing
      • 瞬态/permission letter must be signed by the registrar or academic dean at the institution granting permission of the applicant as a transient student.
      • The letter must indicate the specific term the student plans to attend East Georgia 州立大学.
      • The letter may also include a list of courses to be taken at East Georgia 州立大学.
    1. Check your application status to make sure we've received all of your documentation

    • This is not required if you pay out-of-state tuition.
    • Out-of-state tuition is much higher than in-state tuition. 估计成本.
    • Admission to EGSC is not contingent upon proof of lawful presence.
    • If you no longer wish to be considered for tuition at the in-state rate, please contact 我们在 admissionsFREEOMNIUPDATE so that we can remove the requirement from your record.

All new students (freshman, transfers, and others) attending in person classes will be required to submit a Certificate of 免疫接种 prior to the first day of classes. The certificate will be kept on file and will be valid throughout the tenure of the student's enrollment.

Students who plan on enrolling in fully online classes may or due to conflict with religious beliefs may request an exemption on the immunization form located here.

Once all of the required documentation has been received and you have been accepted, you are now ready to be registered for your class(es)!

    • Review the available courses on the 课程安排 by selecting semester and subject. Please note that not all classes are offered at all campus locations each semester
    • Contact the Registrar's Office via email at recordsFREEOMNIUPDATE or call 478-289-2169 to get registered for your class(es). 
    • 瞬态 students should be prepared to request a transcript from East Georgia to be sent back to their home institution upon completion of courses.
