62 and Older Program

If you are a legal resident of Georgia who is 62 or older and are interested in taking undergraduate-level courses, East Georgia State College offers the Amendment 23 program that allows you to enroll in classes (depending upon available space) tuition free (excluding textbooks, technology fees, and lab fees).

1. Start your application online.
2. Submit proof of age, identification, proof of Georgia residency, and the 老年人学费 and 费用 Waiver to the Registrar’s Office.
3. Submit an official high school transcript or GED scores.
4. If you have previously attended college, submit official college transcripts from all prior institutions.
5. Take the Academic 放置 exam. This exam will determine if you need to take refresher courses in reading, English, and/or mathematics.
6. Check your application status to make sure we've received all of your documentation.

If you earned a GED

If you earned a GED, you should request a transcript.

If You Earned Qualifying 分数 on the HiSET or TASC

- If you earned qualifying scores on the HiSET test, request a copy of your HiSET scores here.
- If you earned qualifying scores on the TASC exam, request a copy of your TASC scores here. (仅限纽约)

- If you are auditing as a 62+ student, have official transcripts sent from the last 大学参加了.
- Accuplacer placement exam is not required if you choose to audit your classes instead of taking them for credit.
